Made up of two books, one of 35mm photographs, the other iPhone pictures. All images are collected from a 10 day trip in Tokyo in July 2018. The images do not represent a perfect performance or masterly precision, instead they document the bumpy early stages of play with a camera. 







“The lack of formal training in this subject meant that instead I am focusing more on exploration and practical adventures. The period of trying something new and when the naiveté and ignorance in the subject is a kind of benefit in a way. - I hoped to present the images in a way to display this in the layout and the way the book moves through your hands.”
